Consulting Services
HB&T Environmental Inc. provides professional environmental consulting services which include:
- An initial survey, inspection, or assessment consisting of the visual identification of hazardous building materials, the collection of samples, and the interpretation of laboratory analytical reports.
- Assistance in the selection of appropriate abatement/remediation procedures and protocols for the project.
- Assistance in preparing budgets for remediation and abatement projects
- The preparation of appropriate work plans and specifications for abatement/remediation projects.
- Assistance in procurement and evaluation of bids by qualified contractors.
- Conduct the pre-bid job walk with all prospective bidders.
- Review all bids; advising the owner of the most cost-effective submittal.
- Inspect the job site with the contractor to agree on pre-abatement conditions.
- Perform appropriate types of sampling, including air, dust, surface, etc. as necessary during abatement/remediation work.
- Conduct final visual inspections of the work area and perform final clearance/post remediation testing as applicable.

All services are provided in conformity with applicable EPA, OSHA, AHERA, CDPH, HUD and local air quality management district rules and regulations.

- Represent the interests of the client/building owner throughout the project.
